Fixtures

Tuesday 7th March 2017 – LEAGUE ONE
Charlton Athletic v Scunthorpe United 19:45
Oxford United v Sheffield United 19:45
Walsall v Chesterfield 19:45

Four successive defeats has seen Charlton slip towards a potential relegation battle. If a sixth in the last seven were to happen at the Valley against Scunthorpe – who are seven without a win – worries would increase. The Iron would move above Fleetwood back into second with a victory over the Addicks.

Oxford have a chance to improve their play-off chances if the U’s could win one of their games in hand against Sheffield United at the Kassam Stadium. However, the Blades would move eight points clear at the top with a win.

An unlikely push towards the play-offs would mean Walsall have to beat struggling Chesterfield. A victory over the Saddlers – having won for the first time in eight last time round – would move the Spireites to within five points of safety.

It goes without saying the expectation; most definitely the hope at least, will be for a positive result. But will this happen? We’ll find out soon enough.

Ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go, which requires you to vote in the latest poll in one of the options you have been given.

However, don’t just look also have a say. We don’t just want your vote, which you can do to the right, we also want some thoughts and views ahead of the game as well so share these below.
