Unsurprisingly Charlton miss Dagnall

Phil Parkinson confirmed that week that he wanted to bring Chris Dagnall to Charlton however this was always doomed to fail, and so it has.

Dagnall was watch by Addicks scouts, and Parkinson himself several times last season as he helped Rochdale to promotion into League 1 but his signing was never likely to happen as we can’t compete with anyone in the transfer market.

The 24-year-old is joining Championship side Scunthorpe United, as we were unable to match the terms The Iron offered.

We’ve got no money and have plenty of doubt so this missing out on the striker shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone really should it?

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on missing out on Chris Dagnall, who will be the first of many players that we’ll miss out on probably? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

When you’ve not got any money you can’t sign any players can you! All you can do is let your best players go and hope the rest can plod along.
