Wycombe Wanderers have an impressive non-league player on trial with them at the moment, however it’s understood that they’ll be missing out on him with Charlton in the mix.

Marvin McCoy is on trial with Wycombe from Wealdstone but the right back in gaining attention from clubs at a higher level according to Skysports.com.

They’re reporting that Phil Parkinson is interested in signing the former Arsenal and Watford youngster, however Leeds United and Southampton are also keeping and eye on the 21-year-old who would be allowed to leave The Ryman Premier club to return to The Football League.

As always our problem might not be attracting the player but being able to compete with others over the transfer fee as Wealdstone would let him leave if they receive a suitable offer, and we’re not really in a position to make money offers are we?

If Leeds and Southampton are seriously interested, we have no chance. Pards might see him as a replacement for Richardson, who has a long term injury.

Not going to happen is it, nice thought though as I’ve heard his name before.
