After two home league matches the Addicks are on the road, travelling to League One outfit Luton for the Carling Cup fourth round encounter.

Player to watch: Paul Furlong

The veteran striker is still banging in the goals, with him scoring five so far this season including two in the carling cup.

The Addicks Team News:

Alan Pardew is expected to ring the changes, so Matt Holland, Yassin Moutaouakil and Svetoslav Todorov, all back from injury could all return to the side, along with Izale McLeod and possibly Darren Randolph in goal.
Nicky Weaver, Chris Powell, Danny Mills, Andy Reid, Chris Iwelumo and possibly Luke Varney are all expected to be rested, and maybe others.

Player to watch: Izale McLeod

The former Milton Keynes Dons striker made quite an impact when he came on against Norwich last week, so if he is given a start, as expected, he could cause the Hatters major problems.

Match Prediction:

The league is obviously the priority for the Addicks, but a good cup run, which we have had already, would not go a miss.
Even with players rested you would have to fancy the Addicks to make it into the next round, so I say an Addicks win!

The league is the priority, but the cup’s are a nice break aren’t they and I will still like to see a good cup run, so we should be winning this matche despite the changes that will be made.
