Thatcher completes Addicks move

City have received a fee of £500,000, which with additional clauses could rise to £750,000, for the 31-year-old left back.

The former Wales international made 51 appearances for City since arriving from Leicester City in June 2004.

He seems to be the straight replacement for Traore who left for Pompey today. Traore’s performances had been embarrassing this season and the club had clearly given up all hope with him.
