Some news none of us wanted to hear

|

Out-of-contract midfielder Joe Aribo is apparently being chased by Premier League Giants Arsenal and with the player still to sign a new contract, things are really not looking in our favour regarding this deal. It’s obvious Joe is going to leave, even if he does not want to go his agent will make him, he has the same agent as Ademola Lookman and Josh Maja who all moved on to bigger clubs.

Now this news has surfaced it’s going to take a miracle for Joe Aribo to sign a new contract with us, as much as we all want it we all know exactly which way this is going to go. In a world ruled by money, does loyalty mean anything these days? I’m sure we will find out in the next few months but all I know is things are not looking good in this situation.

If he does go Arsenal he will defiantly not get the play-time that he is getting here, it will be severely reduced with players like Lucas Torreira taking the starting line-ups for most of the matches, he will probably get a few substitute appearances at Arsenal, but recently they have been giving the younger players more of a chance this season so who knows what will happen if the deal goes through.

So, as we get ever closer to one more player leaving the club, who can possibly replace Joe Aribo, it’s very hard to say right now with our future looking very uncertain. Next season could see the introduction of a new owner, but I won’t be holding my breath the rumours that we have heard in the last year just get talked about and no final result gets put forward, what is Roland trying to do to this club? Is purposely losing money to make us a failure of a club? I mean it certainly looks that way but surely that can’t be his plan, he’s a businessman so he wants to make money not lose it.

Only time will tell, all I know is this new owner needs to step up and take the club from Roland because the longer they leave it the longer we are going to spend cleaning this mess up.
