Sinclair Happy to Stay at Cheltenham

Dean Sinclair has said he would like to extend his loan at Cheltenham into a third a final month.

He might have only signed for the Addicks last summer but had found in difficult to get into the first team, so he was soon allowed to join the Robins on loan. He has enjoyed this loan and would like to extend it further: “I don’t think there is any problem at this end with another month,” Dean Sinclair told the Cheltenham website.

“We just have to speak to Charlton to see what the situation is. I don’t think there will be a problem.”

Should this request be granted (which would seem likely) then Dean Sinclair would have to return to the Valley at the end of this third and final month, unless he was sold? But it would seem strange that he was signed last summer, rarely to feature only to then be sold after going out on loan.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Dean Sinclair? Do you think this loan will do him good, and will he come back? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

How much impact he will have at the Valley remains to be seen but I’d be surprised if he didn’t return after this loan, which should have done him good.

He does, I would find it hard to think he would be signed only to be flogged off again. I’m hoping the loan is just to give him matches, nothing more nothing less.

Not sure about a regular starter, certainly could play his part though.
