Dean Sinclair will stay with Cheltenham for another month (at least) after the Addicks agreed to extend his loan.

In order for Dean Sinclair to get some much needed first team football, as he wasn’t getting this at the Valley following his summer move from Barnet, the 22-year-old as loaned out to the Robins (who had wanted to sign him in the summer) and after seven appearance they want to keep him longer, something that the Addicks have agreed to.

Although the extension has been granted the midfielder won’t be allowed to play in their FA Cup match on Saturday, as Alan Pardew does not want him cup tied, which does at least suggest that he sees a potential role for him still this season?

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Dean Sinclair’s loan being extended? Is it a good thing, do you think he will return, and if he does will he play? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

  • It makes sense, he wont play much here will he, so he needs first team football. But it does seem more promising that he will return though, and possibly play a part this season?

  • He has potential, but that might not be enough? But he must have been signed for the long haul, even taking possible Premier League football into account? He cost a couple of hundred thousand I believe.
