Scunthorpe are hoping to keep our on-loan defender Kelly Youga for at least the rest of the season.

The Irons boss Nigel Adkins sounds as though he wants to make a move for the 22-year-old a permanent one, but will settle for a loan for at least the rest of the current season at the moment: “I’m very hopeful that we’ll be able to keep Kelly at least until the end of this season.”

Kelly Youga signed for the Addicks in July 2005 but has not made a single first team appearance at the Valley and is probably not likely to. In fact his only football in this country since his free transfer signing from Lyon has been during his loan spells away from the Valley, as well as his current one he has also had loans with Bristol City and Bradford.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Kelly Youga? Do you think he will come back to the Valley as an Addicks player, do you want him to? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

I don’t think that he will be missed, the fact that AP has made no sign at all of recalling him (or a mention of him) despite the injuries and suspension situation seems to say enough. I don’t think he will come back will he?
