Reid To Return To Charlton

Kyel Reid could be the latest player that Phil Parkinson brings to Charlton this summer.

Parkinson was impressed with the 22-year-old when he was on loan from Sheffield United last season and a return to The Valley was something that The Addicks boss wanted. Reports from Skysports.com are saying that we’ve agreed a deal for the winger to make that return.

Reid had joined The Blades last summer but he failed to make an impact at Bramall Lane so came to SE7 for that latter part of last season, where he certainly did impress so a permanent move to Charlton could be on.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on reports that Kyel Reid is coming back to Charlton? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

I wonder if a fee is involved? If not this is a guenuine coup. Kyel on the left and Scott on the right, would give us some nice width.

I’d be very happy to see this. I can’t see that there would be any fee involved or we’d not have him.

Kyel did pretty well when I saw him, he’s not great but hey this is the third division…I think this could be a nice bit of business…when on form he does look dangerous and he has a ferocious strike of the ball
