The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Charlton Athletic and Shrewsbury Town this Saturday.

Charlton Athletic host Shrewsbury Town on Saturday February 24 for the game at The Valley and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Assistant Refs: Paul Graham and Carl Fitch-Jackson
Fourth Official: Charles Breakspear

Match Day referee Sarginson has officiated 33 games in 2017/18, showing 109 yellow cards and five red cards.

He took in 41 games in 2016/17, with a return of 121 yellow cards and seven red cards.

His highest card count that year was eight yellows in the game between Millwall and Gillingham.

He took in 31 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 91 yellow cards and two red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Rochdale and Swindon Town on November 7 with a total of seven yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
