Phil Parkinson wanted Darren Randolph to stay at Charlton, however it’s not looking as though this is going to happen.
Randolph is another that’s out of contract this summer and after staying last summer his time at SE7 is finally coming to an end with a move to Scottish Premier League club Motherwell expected to be completed this week.
Motherwell will play in The Europa League next season and this is bound to be a draw for the 23-year-old who would become Craig Brown’s number one according to The South London Press? No compensation fee will be given to The Addicks due to the fact the Irish goalkeeper is leaving England.
What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Darren Randolph’s impending move to Motherwell? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

It’s a shame that he leaves just as he seemed to be comming good…..still it presents an opportunity for a young player maybe to step up the ladder
Robbie Elliott’s a better goalkeeper anyway. I wouldn’t have minded keeping Randolph but it’ll be his loss in the end.
I think your’re right Rufus…players do not go to Scotland to enrich their credentials… it’s a desperate pitstop
