Chris Powell is being linked with the vacancy at Wolves.

Following Wolves’ relegation from the Championship they sacked Dean Saunders, and are now looking for a new man to steer them in League One next season.

Kenny Jackett, Steve McClaren and Owen Coyle have all been linked with the job, with former Millwall boss Jacket spoken to. Reports today are linking Powell with the job having impressed with The Addicks since taking over, not only guiding the club to the League One title the season before last but to the brink of the Championship play offs last season.

Powell would make a good appointment for anyone, so it’s easy to see why clubs would want to take him on but why would he want to turn his back on The Addicks for the job at Molineux?
