The baron run for Charlton finally ended on Saturday with a win at The Valley against Leyton Orient.

After going 1-0 down we could’ve folded and given up but we battled back to win 3-1 in the end and Chris Powell was happy with what he saw.

The Addicks boss thinks that we forced Orient into making mistakes and some quality moments also made the difference, Powell told BBC London 94.9: “I thought the team really pressed Orient and we hurried them into making mistakes.

“We had a bit of quality from Paul Benson and Bradley’s second goal.”

Since his arrival Michael Stewart has gradually been getting some time on the pitch as a substitute and he played his part in the final goal too, Powell added: “I thought the third goal was quite fitting – Michael Stewart came on and he’s a good player and we are trying to integrate him into the way we play.”
