Chris Powell was forced to come off near the end of the Addicks win over Ipswich on Saturday, now he is facing a race against time to be fit for this Saturdays match with West Brom.
A head injury forced Chris Powell off and even though he says that he feels fine, with him having a bit of concussion he is facing a race against time to be fit for the crucial Championship match with the Baggies: “I have got a bit of concussion,” Chris Powell said.
“I have been checked out and I feel fine, but the rules on concussion are there to safeguard against further problems so I don’t know if I’ll face West Brom yet.
“The club are going to keep an eye on me and I’ll find out if I can play in the next few days.”
Hopefully he can be fit, but with a concussion no chances can be taken can they, but it would be much better and helpful for us if he can, but safety first.

Obviously with the defenders that we already have missing we desperately need him to be fit, but no chances can, or will be taken with a concussion.
No Definitely Not Me Thinks…!
Well he made it, part of me kind of wishes he hadn’t because he didn’t have one of his better games did he!
Let’s not go there eh!
