Parkinson Post Tranmere

Charlton came away from Prenton Park with a point after a 1-1 draw against Tranmere Rovers on Saturday, however it should’ve been more.

Phil Parkinson knows that we had the chances (and good ones) in the first half but our failure to kill of Tranmere cost us in the end, Phil Parkinson told BBC London 94.9: “It should have been over in the first half of the game really.

“We had three or four very good chances to kill the game off.”

Even though we should’ve won we it could’ve been worse and The Addicks boss knows that getting something on the road was a must so he was happy in that respect, adding: “It was important we got something today, so I’m pleased we’ve done that.”

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Phil Parkinson’s thoughts on the Tranmere draw? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.
