Charlton were beaten 4-0 by bitter rivals Millwall at The New Den on Saturday, however Phil Parkinson doesn’t think that this was a true reflection of what he felt was a fairly even game.

Parkinson thinks that the amount of individual mistakes proved the collect downfall for us against The Lions, Parkinson told BBC London 94.9: “It was an even game, and we did a lot of good things in the first half.

“You can’t go into a big game like a local derby with Millwall, make so many mistakes and think you’re going to get away with it.

“Too many individual mistakes have cost us today. You’re going to be punished, and we were punished today.”

Of all the teams to be beaten 4-0 by it would have to be our local rivals wouldn’t it, who we do have to give some credit to really.
