Operation Ewood On The Arisen

Charlton will take 6,000 + supporters to the North West as the Addicks travel to Blackburn tomorrow. After the disappointing draw with fellow strugglers Sheffield Utd, Alan Pardew knows that a win against Rovers would be a big step towards survival.

Our away record is one of the worst around with just win in 18months of games away from The Valley. That said Blackburn’s home form hasn’t been great lately and you can sense a possible upset. Should we get the win and other results go our way we could be looking at just another point from our last two games to stay up.

It’s a long way to go tomorrow and I`m leaving from Kent at 07.30 am to get up to the ground on time. But every fan needs to make the effort and show Pards and the boys that we are backing them 100%. The chairman has made the effort in paying for our travel so we have to thank him and the board by making a load of noise.

It should be a brilliant atmosphere tomorrow with such a big crowd in the away end. We have been given permission to take the drums in with us to and you just know tomorrow will be one of them days to say’ I was there’.

We are at that stage of the season now where there is no room for mistakes and where we cannot panic in tight situations. Let`s make sure we raise the roof tomorrow and help the team onto victory.

Well done all for your support and whatever the result let`s all have a great day out doing what we love.

How do you think we will do at Operation Ewood? Have your say now.
