The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Swansea City’s Under 23s and Charlton Athletic this Tuesday in the EFL Trophy.

Swansea City’s Under 23 squad host Charlton Athletic on Tuesday December 5 for the EFL Trophy tie at the Liberty Stadium and the match carries a 7pm kick off.

Match Day referee Swabey has officiated two games in the season of 2017/18, showing seven yellow cards.

In 2016/17 he took in 14 games, with a return of 59 yellow cards and three red cards.

His highest card count that year was nine yellows in the game between Mansfield Town and Portsmouth.

He took in 31 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 98 yellow cards and eleven red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Stevenage and Mansfield on September 29 with a total of eight yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
