The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the EFL Cup tie between Norwich City and Charlton Athletic this Tuesday.

Norwich City host Charlton Athletic on Tuesday August 22 for the second round EFL Cup tie at Carrow Road and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Assistant Refs: Nicholas Cooper and Daniel Cook
Fourth Official: Marc Wilson

Match Day referee Haines has officiated four games in 2017/18, showing 15 yellow cards and one red card already.

He took in 37 games in 2016/17 with a return of 113 yellow cards and five red cards.

His highest card count this season was seven yellows in the game between Bradford City and Bristol Rovers.

He took in 27 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 86 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Oldham and Swindon in April with a total of nine yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
