The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Charlton Athletic and Walsall this Saturday.

Charlton Athletic host Walsall on Saturday January 20 for the game at The Valley and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Scott Oldham
Assistant Refs: Gregory Read and Andrew Aylott
Fourth Official: Alan Young

Match Day referee Oldham has officiated 23 games in 2017/18, showing 62 yellow cards and three red cards.

He took in 18 games in 2016/17 with a return of 49 yellow cards and zero red cards in his first year in the National League and this season sees him new to the Football League.

His highest card count that year was six yellow cards and he showed six on two occasions.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
