The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Charlton Athletic and Oxford United this Tuesday in the EFL Trophy.

Charlton Athletic host Oxford United on Tuesday January 9 for the EFL Trophy third round tie at The Valley and the match carries a 7.45pm kick off.

Assistant Refs: Callum Winchester and Ian Rathbone

Match Day referee Haines has officiated 25 games in 2017/18, showing 78 yellow cards and four red cards already.

He took in 37 games in 2016/17 with a return of 113 yellow cards and five red cards.

His highest card count this season was seven yellows in the game between Bradford City and Bristol Rovers.

He took in 27 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 86 yellow cards and five red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Oldham and Swindon in April with a total of nine yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
