The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game between Charlton Athletic and Oldham Athletic this Saturday.

Charlton Athletic host Oldham Athletic on Saturday January 6 for the game at The Valley and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Lee Swabey
Assistant Refs: Kevin Howick and Thomas Ramsey
Fourth Official: Louis Marks

Match Day referee Swabey has officiated seven games in the season of 2017/18, showing 23 yellow cards and one red card.

In 2016/17 he took in 14 games, with a return of 59 yellow cards and three red cards.

His highest card count that year was nine yellows in the game between Mansfield Town and Portsmouth.

He took in 31 matches in 2015-16 and in those games, across all competitions and football divisions, he handed out a total of 98 yellow cards and eleven red cards.

He was most card happy in the match between Stevenage and Mansfield on September 29 with a total of eight yellows being shown.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of the players edge closer to automatic bans.
