The boys might be out of action due to the international break, but there is another way where you can watch Charlton play and that’s the girls!
Charlton’s women will face Aston Villa’s women down at The Valley on Saturday (3pm kick off) in the FA Women’s Championship.
Riteesh Mishra’s side currently sit in eighth place, whilst Villa are second and have a 100% win record so far this season. The team are looking to get as many people down at the game as possible, so if you haven’t got anything on this Saturday, get yourself down there and support the women!
I will be in attendance for my first ever women’s football game, so this’ll be a good experience for me. I encourage people to head to the match as it’ll give the team a massive confidence boost and it also shows appreciation and support for the women’s game.
