Charlton Athletic have today confirmed that the derby clash at The Den against Millwall has now been brought forward.

When the fixtures were released, the game was originally set for Saturday October 8 and whilst it still takes place on the same day, the kick off has moved from 3pm to 1pm.

It will be the first meeting between the two sides since April 2015 where Millwall were relegated into League One, before we unfortunately followed them last season and the earlier kick off time is due to England’s World Cup qualifier at Wembley that day, which takes place at 6pm.

Another switch is the New Year’s Eve trip to Roots Hall to face Southend United. That game remains on December 31, but also now kicks off at 1pm.

Finally, the trip to Coventry City in April, has been brought forward 24 hours.

It was originally set for Saturday April 15, but has moved to the Good Friday slot being Easter Weekend. It now takes place at 3pm on Friday April 14.
