The Football League have now announced the Match Day officials that will take charge of the game against Chesterfield this weekend.

Charlton Athletic travel to Chesterfield on Saturday April 22 for the game at the Proact Stadium and the match carries a 3pm kick off.

Referee: Michael Salisbury
Linesmen: David Plowright and Duncan Street
Fourth Official: Mark Jones

Match Day referee Salisbury is new to the Football League this season having been on National League duty in 2015/16.

He has officiated 30 games in 2016/17 with a return of 103 yellow cards and nine red cards.

His highest card count this year was seven yellow cards and one red in the game between Stevenage and Portsmouth.

In the National League last season though he took in 20 games, with a return of 25 yellow cards and three red cards.

Let`s hope it`s not another repeat and more of our players edge closer to automatic bans.
