Charlton are still on the lookout for a new goalkeeper challenge, or acts as back up for Rob Elliot after failing to agree a deal with Andy Marshall.

Marshall’s been training with The Addicks for a couple of weeks after his release by Aston Villa, however the 35-year-olds personal demands are understood to be something that won’t be matched.

As a result The South London Press reports that a deal is unlikely.

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Andy Marshall’s non-signing, apparently? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

Coming down from the Premier League wages he would’ve been on to League One wages would’ve been a culture shock, however, at his age you would’ve thought he would be grateful to get a new club?
