Veteran goalkeeper Andy Marshall could find himself at Charlton this season after being handed the chance to impress during a trial with The Addicks.

Marshall featured for a Charlton XI against Bromley last night and kept a clean sheet in the 2-0 win. The 35-year-old has previously played for Ipswich Town, Coventry City, Millwall and was with Aston Villa last season, however he was released this summer.

Following Darren Randolph’s departure for Motherwell Phil Parkinson needs a new goalkeeper to act as cover, or to challenge Rob Elliot.
