Lyle Taylor has said his goodbyes

|

The last few weeks have been difficult for The Addicks fans, staff and players alike as top scorer Lyle Taylor has now apparently left the club for good as he exited the club’s training ground for the final time this week.

Can you get 25/25 on this former Charlton players quiz? I bet you can’t, but feel free to prove me wrong!

Who is this?

It really is a shame that Taylor has had to leave us this way because he was such a good player for us and he made us love him as much as he made us hate him too.

He was an integral part of our team, he brought quality, skills and goals, he really was the commandant of the strike force, and his style of play will be sorely missed.

According to The Sun (Page52 June 17) Lyle Taylor has apparently said his goodbyes to his teammates and the staff at Sparrows Lane as his Charlton career comes to a close.

Now we can finally look to the future, we have Macauley Bonne a very enthusiastic attacker who has all the pressure on his shoulders to replace Taylor, I think he can do a good job and help keep us up, he has eight goals to his name so far this season and he will be looking to add more

Do you think Macaulay Bonne can replace Lyle Taylor?

Yes

No

Thanks for your service Lyle, but I don’t like the way you left us.
