Lyle Taylor Comments on Roland

|

Our star man Lyle Taylor is a fantastic person on and off the pitch, we all know him as the great man that he is with his work on Cancer Research where he dyed his hair pink for October, he raised nearly £18,000 on his fund-raising page alone, a fantastic amount of support for Taylor and Cancer Research. Things like this just make you proud that such a player like Lyle actually plays for us in a very toxic regime in which we hope will come to an end sooner rather than later.

Talking of the regime Lyle Taylor had an interview with the South London Press and he commented on Roland’s choice not to back Bowyer ahead of a free agent transfer

“I was sent the article on Monday by my dad, along with a play on words of the chairman’s name – something used to clean yourself in the toilet. The way I see it, you back the manager. He has decided he doesn’t want to back the manager. I don’t know what his reasons are. I’m sure he has his reasons because most people do for the things they do.

“There is absolutely nothing we can do about it in the dressing room.

“Would we have liked another one in, so that we change games? Yeah. Are we going to get that opportunity? Absolutely not.”

Obviously, we all know Taylor has a footballing mind and Duchatelet does not have that mindset in any way shape or form and Lyle knows Roland should back the manager, at least our players have their heads screwed on then again I had no doubt because we have great group of players backed by a fantastic management team only to not be backed by a billionaire, if he just gave us a couple million to spend at the beginning of the season I reckon with Bowyer and Gallen doing the transfers we would probably be top or second by now as they have shown to bring quality out of free players, who know what they can do with a few quid in their skyrocket, I’ll have to get them two to sort out my monthly finances!

But our main man could be landing himself in hot water after his latest comments and I really just hope it goes over Roland’s head just like all the other problems here at Charlton , but the thing is I can really see Roland giving Taylor some backlash over this, but I do like how Taylor has come out and said that he and the team do understand what is happening around the club and he feels the same as us fans do.

Taylor continued with his comments

“I don’t think it is going to change. I don’t know if he is even going to sell the club. He doesn’t seem to be that interested in anything Charlton, or anything helping Charlton at the moment.”

Well by the sounds of it we got Roland for the foreseeable future, but don’t let this bring you down though as I stated in my article earlier in the week we must not let him beat us don’t let him bring your mood about Charlton down because he is not the club, yes he does control most of what happens but WE ARE THE CLUB! Remember what we have done for this club over the years we are not going to let that slip away, just get down the ground and support the team and we can all beat him together! We didn’t work so hard to get back to The Valley for this!
