Loan Pair Facing Valley Exit

Addicks chief executive Peter Varney has confirmed that Amdy Faye and Marcus Bent have most probably played their last matches for the club.

Faye left for Rangers, and Bent for Wigan, both on season long loan deals, and both on transfer deadline day, but fees have been agreed that will see them leave for good if they are successful in their loans, Varney told icSouthlondon: “They moved on season-long loans because they were deals that suited both parties. The clubs can take over their wages, and also get a chance to have a good look at them.

“Both clubs have first option for a permanent transfer in the summer, and we have already agreed a set fee for the players.”

I think it is fair to say that neither player will be missed that much this season, and in all truth neither player has really done that much during their time with the Addicks so as much as they are wished well we don’t really have too much to thank them for do we?

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on these players? Would you like to see one or both return to the Valley, or are you happy to have seen the back of them? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.
