Released Charlton striker Kevin Lisbie will play in a trial match for Championship rivals Colchester Utd.

The former Addicks number 12 is looking for a new club after Charlton ended his 11 year association with the club this summer.

Colchester boss Geraint Williams will take a look at Lisbie in a friendly at Heybridge Swifts on Saturday.

The Hackney-born Jamaican international scored 19 goals in 176 games for the Addicks and he is now 28.

Vital Charlton wishes Kevin all the best for the future.
