“Leeds are falling apart again” “Fantastic performance by every single player” – The Fans Have Their Say After A Hard-Fought Victory

|

What a performance by The Addicks! Charlton swept aside Leeds United in a 1-0 win after a scrappy opener which we all thought was Tom Lockyer’s goal, but it was instead handed to Macauley Bonne as he opens his account for Charlton.

The fans were once again absolutely brilliant, the noise and the singing were top-notch as always making The Valley the fortress it has been for the last year, losing just once in just under 12 months.

If it wasn’t for the fans being as supportive as they were all game it could have been a totally different outcome as Leeds were knocking on the door all game.

All the lads put in a sublime performance backed by The Covered End Choir in one of the most passionate and hard-working displays I’ve ever seen from a Charlton team.

What Bowyer has done at this club is magic. Taking us over from the hole that we were stuck in with Karl Robinson’s way of playing football starting to become a bit stale and Roland Duchatelet unwilling to spend any money.

Now it is all changed, our tactics are fluid and they command hard graft and even Roland has been putting a bit of money about here and there as he apparently still works towards a takeover, let’s hope it happens soon so we can become an even greater club.

Earlier I asked you the fans what you thought of yesterday’s performance and here is what you had to say
