Lee Bowyer speaks out about his touchline ban after yesterdays announcement

|

After what seems like an unfair touchline ban for Charlton manager Lee Bowyer, he has spoken out about it in his press conference this morning and it’s fair to say he is dissapointedwith The FA’s decision.

It’s like The FA are trying to cut down people’s opinions handing out fines and bans for speaking out about what they beleive in and It’s an absolute farce on The FA’s account.

Here is what Lee Bowyer had to say in his press conference this morning

“I’ve been in this situation before. I learnt from the mistake I made last time. I didn’t shout, I didn’t swear, and spoke to the referee calmly.

“I’d rather be on the touchline, but our work is done between Monday and Friday. They will all know their jobs whether I’m on the side or not.

I’ll have a walkie-talkie to the bench so the only difference will be that Jacko will be shouting the instructions!”

I feel like we will be fine even without Bowyer on the touchline, last time this happened he had a three-game ban and we won two and drew one, so it’s not like it has too much of a difference, plus Bowyer will have a good view from the stands as he stated last time this happened.

Let’s get through this period now and Bowyer will be back before we know it!
