The news all of us have been waiting for, we all want Lyle Taylor back as soon as possible. However Charlton manager Lee Bowyer has given a fresh update on Lyle Taylor’s recovery after sustaining an injury on international duty with Montserrat.
The gaffer gave a positive update in his press conference this morning and here is what he had to say
“Lyle is still in the brace and is doing strength work. He’ll be out of the brace on Monday and we think he’s slightly ahead of schedule, so that’s positive news.”
Those words “slightly ahead of schedule” will have Charlton fans drooling at the mouth as we await the return of the top goalscorer with his five goals in six games proving to be a big loss as we have suffered defeat three times in the last five games.
We do have Macauley Bonne improving every single game and thankfully he has delivered, maybe not to Lyle’s standard, but he is certaintly getting better and I for one cant wait to see these two team up!
