Lee Bowyer announces injured player is back in training

|

It’s been a tough road for left-back Lewis Page, he has been out injured for the last 13 months which must be shattering for the 23-year-old.

Lee Bowyer has made his frustration on the full-back clear as he stated a while back that he does not want to hear anything else on Lewis unless he’s back in training which sent out a pretty clear message to Page as he battles back for full fitness.

When fully fit who would you prefer to play at left-back?

Lee Bowyer held his weekly press conference today and he had this to say about Lewis Page as he returns to training.

“Lewis Page trained on Wednesday for the first time so will need to play some U23 games first.”

I remember Pagey and Caskey making their returns in a U23s game last season and I was so pleased to see them both back unfortunately it was cut short yet again for Page as he was injured in a friendly against Gillingham.

Let’s hope he can get back to full fitness, good luck Lewis!
