Lee Bowyer A Strong Contender For Stoke City

|

Charlton boss Lee Bowyer is reportedly being linked with the Stoke City job as former Charlton youth manager Nathan Jones is close to the exit door after a disastrous start to the Championship season as they still seek their first win of the campaign.

This is not the first time it has happened, Huddersfield were sniffing around Bowyer not long ago, but the former Leeds midfielder turned down the job and is likely to do so with this position.

I really don’t think Lee will take this job, we have nothing to worry about he is the man for Charlton and Charlton is for him. Lee even stated himself that he wants to be the next Alan Curbishley and if he wants to do that we got him for at least another 14 years!

The journey he has mentioned many times is one we are all going on together, not Huddersfield, not Stoke just Charlton and he is happy to be here for at least the not so distant future, things could change. It’s football anything can happen, but I can tell you now Bowyer will not be leaving Charlton anytime soon.
