Yann Kermorgant exit has tonight been confirmed but Charlton have brought in Polish striker Piotr Parzyszek.

Kermorgant agreed terms with the Cherries to end his stay with the Addicks, which has lasted since September 2011, with him leaving the Valley for an undisclosed fee. The Frenchman has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract, which at and age of 32 bring him good security.

Parzyszek signs from Dutch outfit De Graafschap, where he’s scored 16 goals in 20 appearances this season and that is a very good return that bodes well for Charlton’s future but they need the goals from him right away.

The Polish U21 international has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract at the Valley with his signing also for an undisclosed amount but he is clearly happy to be with the club and knows their history.

Upon his signing he told the official website: ‘When I was young I always watched Charlton play in the Premier League.

‘I remember players like Matt Holland. It was a big club then and it is still a big club now. For me it is a dream to play here.’
