Just the kind of news we didn’t want to hear isn’t it. Skipper Andy Reid will be out for up to eight weeks with a knee injury.

Andy Reid had to limp away from our defeat against the Baggies last Saturday with a knee problem which has since been diagnosed as medial ligament damage, and this will keep him out for a what is believed to be a minimum of six weeks, but more likely eight so he will be missing well into the New Year.

Darren Ambrose and Zheng Zhi will also missed the match with Hull this Saturday, so this further adds to Alan Pardew’s woes, with Luke Varney also a doubt with illness, however it looks like it might be better news for Chris Iwelumo? His ankle injury looked quite serious at the time but its not that bad and he could be fit to face the Tigers?

What is the thought among the Addicks followers on this site on Andy Reid’s injury? How much of an impact will that have o our promotion hopes or will we cope ok? Share these feelings below so we can discuss them.

Very bad news, but there isn’t anything that we can do is there so we will just have to dig deep and do what we can, he is an inspirational figure for both club and country but he is out so we will have to cope without him wont we.

Heart-breaking really – speedy recovery to him 🙂

It’s bad news, but these things are sent to try us aren’t they. Speedy (but not rushed) recovery as you say though.
