New Chairman Matt Southall has been working on getting on the fans side after 5 years of complete disconnection from club to supporters as Belgian tycoon and former Charlton owner Roland Duchatelet caused an uproar during his tenure at The Valley.
To start off on a positive note Southall first said that the ambitions right now are to tie down Lee Bowyer and the rest of the backroom staff plus Lyle Taylor and now he has come out and said that he wants to sign West Ham United loanee Josh Cullen on a permanent deal.
Josh Cullen has been monumental in midfield this season making 16 appearances and scoring once from the penalty spot against West Brom to send the away fans home happy after a 90th-minute equaliser.
Cullen is currently out injured until after Christmas and we can’t wait for his return as the injury-hit squad struggles to find a win picking up just one win in the last eight.
Fans reacted on Twitter about the news of Josh Cullen and here is what you all had to say!
Hes absolutely class, the sooner he puts pen to paper the better.
