Charlton midfielder Bryan Hughes has joined Championship rivals Hull City on a 3 year deal.

Hughes was always a bit part player since he arrived at The Valley on a free from Birmingham City in July 2004.

Hughes made 89 appearances for Charlton and scored 10 goals.

Hughes will be best remembered for his winning penalty when Charlton knocked out Chelsea in the Carling Cup in October 2005 at Stamford Bridge.

    Was never going to be a loss was he? Works hard enough but a bit of a one trick pony. He will probably be better off at Hull its more of his level, even though we are now in the same league.
