Here Are Some Transfer Rumours For January

|

January is just a month away and we may have an owner who does not want to spend a penny even if that means younger players having to bring their own water, so what chance have we got signing someone on a permanent deal? Anyway, enough of that let’s take a look at what has been floating around in the rumour mill for Charlton as we could get some decent players on loan from this transfer window to boost the depth in our squad.

Adam Lewis

We start off with Liverpool youngster Adam Lewis who is a left-back, he has been at Liverpool since U6 level and he is 18-years-old. Lewis is yet to make a senior appearance so bringing in someone like him could prove to be a big risk seeing as we have the likes of Toby Stevenson now and we know he is capable of pulling off some great performances so honestly, I think we should give Toby the chance rather than go for Adam Lewis.

Dominic Iorfa

The 23-year-old Wolves defender is a big man at the back and since Nuno Santo has come in to play at Wolves he has gone way down the pecking order at Molineux and has since seen him go out on loan to Ipswich Town. The 6-foot-4 defender has made 93 appearances for Wolves, however, he does look to be on his way out and maybe on his way to SE7 as Charlton scouts have been seen watching him and another Wolves player.

Ethan Ebanks-Landell

Another defender from Wolves who is also being scouted by Charlton. Ethan has quite the record of goals and for a defender, it is not a bad record at all, he has 146 games under his belt and scoring 13 goals so he could bring a more attacking approach to our defence if we were to get him. He has most recently been on loan at MK Dons the only problem is that Mk Dons got relegated with him in defence last season, but players always want to improve and if he can do it at Charlton I’ll be more than happy for him to be in the squad. Another positive about him he was also in Sheffield United’s League One winning squad and he played 34 games scoring 5 times so he did contribute to a big portion of the season.
