Charlton will be looking to go level with Norwich by winning their game in hand against Hartlepool. The fixture was originally scheduled for 9 January but was a victim of the big freeze.
The match was quickly rearranged and Charlton will be looking to take advantage. Hartlepool suffered a 5-0 drubbing at home to MK Dons on Saturday, while the hosts were winning at Wycombe.
Frazer Richardson returned as a second-half substitute at Adams Park and will probably get the nod ahead of Elliot Omozusi for the right-back slot.
Grant Basey is troubled with a niggling injury but will probably continue, though Kelly Youga is nearing fitness.
Chris Dickson appeared to pick up a knock on Saturday and may be a doubt.
