From the Bluebirds View

My counterpart at Vital Cardiff had challenged me to answer a few questions, which I have, so go to Vital Cardiff to see the answers, which should be added soon.

I agreed to answer his questions, and in return I turned the tables on him and reversed his questions to get his answers, so here they are.

Are you happy with your departures and signings?
We were, but it seems like there are gaping holes left for a pacy striker, creative midfielder and possibly another defender too. All our signings were on free transfers and questions remain over some of them. We’ve also let go a solid Championship keeper (Neil Alexander) and not replaced him. Turnbull from Middlesborough was a complete flop and now we have Kasper Schmeichel on a short-term loan.

A disappointing maybe start, you can’t be satisfied so far can you?
Its been really frustrating so far, performances have been up and down but we’ve just been making too many errors and not picking up points. The buzz seems to be missing and we’re not playing at all as we are capable of.

What are your Aspirations for this season?
It was play-offs, now we need to improve rapidly, aim for top 10 and re-asses in February.

Cardiff player to watch, how will they hurt us?
Its been an up and down season for many, but Joe Ledley is a consistent and impressive performer on the left. Not a typical winger, he’s direct, energetic and really improving this year. He’s got great passing and may be more suited to central midfield but can still do a great job out wide.

If you could have one Addicks player who and why?
I’m not too familiar with your current squad, but Todorov is a player linked with us in the past and would give us more options up-front.

Prediction for the game?
A win is surely round the corner for Cardiff City but a draw seems more likely 2-2.
