FREE SEASON TICKET PLEDGE

The club have already cut ticket prices for next season and the free season ticket offer will also come into play if we lose our Premiership status.

Fans who buy their season tickets for the 2007/08 campaign on or before the 30th of April will, if the club are relegated at the end of the season, gain a free season ticket for 2008/09 should the club gain promotion at the first attempt.

Addicks chairman Richard Murray believes the move demonstrates the club’s determination to invest the forthcoming increase from television revenue back into the club’s support.

He told the official website: ‘If we are relegated that support will be more vital than ever and we will do everything we can to regain Premiership status.

‘That is the reason for us taking the unprecedented step of offering a free season ticket for 2008/09 if we are promoted at the first attempt, as we were in 1999/2000.’

The support this year has been up with the best for the last 5 years and the club are obviously trying to give us a bit back.

Hopefully we will not need a free season ticket, as all true fans would rather us stay up than go down for a year and return back to The Premiership and watch for nothing.

Still a great gesture by the chairman to help ease the pain if we do go down.

i really hope you guys stay up, your the working mans football team. You have a great manager and great supportyers. I follow Spurs but have been up a few times this season and with a bit of luck you can drag City into the fight, they have two games in hand but they are against two of the top three. Good luck my fingers are crossed

Great gesture till you look at the small print………. I quote “should the club gain promotion at the first attempt” If you dont get promoted its No Deal. IMHO I think out of the bottom thee Chalton will survive and Man City will replace you in the bottom three, Wigan even though they have had a couple of decent results should keep looking over their shoulder.
