Charlton have allowed both Marcus Bent and Amdy Faye to leave the club on season long loan deals.

Both players have been allowed to leave by boss Pardew as he tries to shake up the squad.

Forward Marcus Bent has joined Wigan Athletic after talks with the Premiership side were finalised on Friday morning.

Senegal midfielder Amdy Faye has signed a season-long loan deal at Scottish giants Rangers.

Both players have not impressed during their spells with the Addicks and the fans will be pleased that they have left the club. Sadly they are only loan agreements and they could be back next season. Let`s hope not.

Good luck to both players and thanks for all you’ve done. Not that there`s much that springs to mind.

Are you pleased to see the back of these two? Have your say below?

now ALan can say this team is his, MB is a bad influence on this club…i dont care what you say..he is a narcissistic b.e.r.k. who thinks he is far better than he really is..thanks chris for taking him…you know what yourdoing as the prem table shows, but i think your wasting your time with him…one good performance from MB in 2yrs is NO GOOD…so good riddance

When Faye first came to England to play for Pompey he looked a good player, since he went to Newcastle he’s been anything but and seems a waste of space since. And how Marcus Bent keeps ending up in the Premiership I don’t have a clue.
