EFL could have rejected Chris Farnell’s appeal after recent update

|

A bit of decent news coming out of Charlton today, as Chris Farnell and Andrei Mihail have both been removed as directors of ESI on the companies house website.

Can you name all the Charlton players who have worn these shirt numbers? I bet you cant but feel free to prove me wrong!

Who wore the number 4 shirt in the 1998/99 season?

The news comes after Chris Farnell was visited by a group of Charlton fans at his IPS Law firm office in Hale and since then he has had his EFL Fit & Proper Person’s Test failed and appealed against, however it looks like he has now had that appeal rejected by looking at the companies house website.

Farrell has been ‘terminated’ as a director on companies house along with Andrei Mihail, which indicates that The EFL have rejected their appeals, but there is some familiar faces back in as directors.

Although this could be potentially great news, the club now looks like it’s been passed back on to Tahnoon Nimer and Matt Southall as they have both been re-registered as directors, that’s where the bad comes in.

Of course, this could all be another stunt made by any of those involved in this fiasco after Matt Southall illegally changed the names on companies house last month.

It’s not yet known how significant this piece of news could be, but as it appears Chris Farnell is gone and the path for Peter Varney and Andrew Barclay could be opened.
