Curbs In Flexibility Call

Alan Curbishley has said Charlton need to be flexible in handling the variety of styles in the Premiership.

Charlton are still in the top six, but failed to make more headway at the weekend after losing to Bolton, despite dominating much of the match. The seasons success so far has come from the five man midfield and Bent finishing his opportunities, however wth Bent missing Charlton look weak upfront and they need to find goals from elsewhere to keep their good run going.

‘Some of the teams we are up against are a lot bigger and stronger – but when our midfielders get on it like they did at Portsmouth, it counts in our favour. When it goes the other way, it is difficult,’

‘The Premiership has got different styles and attitudes in it – and that is what makes it so compelling.’

‘Some of the things which have got us where we are, were not there against Bolton – and if they are not going to be then I have got to think about it.’
