Curbs: Addicks Will Bounce Back

The now West Ham manager could still be joining us in the Championship next season as West Ham need at least a point to guarantee safety. Should Wigan pick up a win on the last day at Sheffield Utd and the Hammers lose to Man Utd, then the boys from the east end will also be down.

Of late West Ham have been playing superbly and I think they will manage to stay up. Six wins from eight games is European form and not relegation.

Speaking to West Ham`s official site Curbs admitted his disappointment at our downfall, a club that will always be very special to him.

‘When I first took over at Charlton they were playing at Upton Park in front of 3, 000 people and when they played Spurs on Monday they were playing in front of a 27, 000 sell-out all-seater Premiership crowd,’ he said.

‘The last ten years at Charlton were fantastic and I was really upset that they went down. As Pards was saying, it affects a lot of people, not just players and management but lots of people on the peripheries. No one wishes that on anyone. But they’ll bounce back.’

Good Luck in keeping West Ham up Curbs and I`m sure we will be playing at Upton Park once again in the not so distant future.

Do you want Curbs to keep the hammers up? Have your say now.
