Josh Staunton has completed a transfer to Dagenham, meaning the defender will spent the next year with the non-league side.

A one-year deal has been signed with John Still’s side, who were relegated from League 2 last season but will hope with the help of the 20-year-old they’ll be able to make an instant return to the Football League.

Gillingham is where Staunton started his career and was at SE7 last season but he wasn’t able to make a first-team appearance for the Addicks, you would expect him to manage this with the Daggers though and best of luck to him.

Jordan Cousins is another of those who is expected to leave the Valley this summer.

The Player of the Year from last season, which made it two-years in a row the 22-year-old had won this, has a ‘number of sides’ looking on with the view to signing him this summer with Chris Hughton’s Brighton seen as one of them according to the South London Press.

If Cousins doesn’t leave this summer that’ll be a huge surprise!
